Upload a group's history, exported from Telegram Desktop, and Evidently reads it as it reads a WhatsApp export. This is how to bring in what a group said before the bot joined.

If something goes wrong
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| “This doesn't look like a Telegram chat export.” | Export the group again with the format set to JSON, then upload result.json. |
| “This is an export of a whole Telegram account…” | Export just the one group: open it in Telegram Desktop, then Export chat history. |
| Photos weren't read. | Export again with Photos ticked, and upload the whole folder as a .zip. |
